Despite holding the Crimson Tide for much of the game, LSU was unable to pull ahead as the Tigers fall to Alabama, 10-0, in Tiger Stadium. This is LSU's sixth straight loss to Alabama.

Both teams had missed field goal opportunities and were scoreless after the first half, being held to under 125 yards of offense each.

It was the first time Alabama has been shut out in a first half in 126 games since a game against Florida State in 2007. However, in the fourth quarter, the Tide were able to break away and score the only touchdown of the night.

LSU running back Leonard Fournette was held to 35 yards on 17 carries, reminiscent of the 2015 matchup where he only had 31 yards.

LSU quarterback Danny Etling was 11 of 24 for 92 yards as the Tiger offense had 125 yards of total offense.

LSU's defense was able to hold Alabama to 116 yards of offense in the first half, but the second half opened up for the Tide, which ended up with 323 total offensive yards.

The Tigers seemed to have contained freshman Alabama quarterback Jalen Hurts with 27 passing yards in the first half and an interception in the first few minutes of the game.

However, that changed in the second half as Hurts scored the Tide's 21-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter. He was 10 of 19 for 107 yards.

LSU will next travel to Fayetteville to face Arkansas on Saturday, Nov. 12. Kickoff will be at 6pm as the game will be televised on ESPN.
