SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -

Shreveport police are looking for a male in connection with the seizure of 5 guns that also resulted in the arrests of 3 other males.

Authorities received reports shortly after 4:30 p.m. Oct. 17 that several males armed with handguns were loitering near the 1100 block of Allen Avenue, Shreveport police Cpl. Marcus Hines said.

Officers caught 3 of 4 males whom witnesses reportedly had seen brandishing firearms.

Booked into Shreveport City Jail on 1 count of illegal carrying of weapons were 18-year-old Quontavious J. Taylor and 17-year-olds La'Gregory J. Burns and Isaiah J. Martin, all 3 of Shreveport.

The fourth male fled and, in the process, discarded a gun that later was found to have been stolen.

Police believe they know who he is and are getting a warrant for his arrest, Hines said.
