For the 18th year in a row, thousands gathered for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure event on Saturday.
The event was held at the Four States Fairgrounds.
Approximately 5000 people came out to join survivors and supporters alike as they walked for the cause.
Over the years, more than $5 million has been raised for the Texarkana, Texas area.
The money raised goes toward breast cancer research.
