SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -

One person is dead and 2 more are wounded as a result of 3 rolling shootouts within 19 minutes this afternoon in Shreveport.

They started on Youree Drive then extended to include Interstate 49 and Ockley Drive at St. Vincent Avenue.

The first was reported at 2:05 p.m. at Youree at East Dalzell Street, Caddo 911 dispatch records show.

Ten minutes later, there was a shooting reported at I-49 between Kings Highway and Hollywood Avenue.

Another shooting occurred at 2:24 p.m. at Ockley at St. Vincent.

At 2:46 p.m., the state highway department reported that a wreck had the right-hand lane of southbound I-49 blocked past Kings Hwy. Traffic backed up for about 2 miles.

That was where Shreveport police had a crime scene on southbound I-49 between the Kings Highway entrance ramp and the Hollywood Avenue exit ramp. There was a car up against a guardrail and with its front, right tire up on the curb. It also appeared that a tinted window and a rear tire, both on the driver's side, had been shot.

There were up to 13 Shreveport police units at I-49 at Kings and another 5 at the Youree Drive location.

Shreveport Fire Department sent 7 units to a medical emergency at the I-49 address, 3 units to a hazardous materials call at Youree at East Dalzell and another 3 to Ockley at Southern Avenue, dispatch records show.

This is a developing story.
