SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -

Thursday didn't start out well for one truck driver.

He was heading into downtown Shreveport on Marshall Street when his tractor-trailer rig got wedged underneath a railroad bridge.

Like a sardine can lid, the impact peeled back part of the trailer's roof.

The driver was unhurt.

Crews were going to check out the bridge to ensure there was no structural damage.

This isn't the first time a truck has ended up stuck under the span. Most recently, the same thing happened in 2014 and 2011.

The clearance under the structure is 12 feet.
