Lawyer speaks after charges dropped against former sheriff, businessmen

Just days before a popular former sheriff and two local businessmen were due to face conspiracy and theft charges in court, the charges were suddenly dropped. The update on the case comes after one witness reportedly recanted their statement and another was found dead of a gunshot wound. On KSLA News 12 at 10, we'll hear from one of the defense attorneys.

    The Mississippi Highway Patrol is looking for a driver who ran away from the scene of a deadly crash in George County. Three children were killed in the crash. Troopers said a green 2003 Kia Optima was heading east on Highway 198, east of Depot Road, shortly before 4 p.m. on Saturday.
