BRPD: Victim dies after Sunday afternoon shooting, arrest warrant issued

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

Baton Rouge Police have issued an arrest warrant for a person in connection with a deadly Sunday afternoon shooting.

23-year-old Kiera Turner is wanted on second degree murder charges after she allegedly shot 22-year-old De Shannon Browder multiple times after an argument in the 1800 block of North Marque Ann Drive turned deadly at about 2:50 p.m.

Browder was transported to an area hospital where she died from her injuries.

Turner faces second degree murder and illegal use of a weapon charges.
