Utility worker injured restoring power lines after EF2 tornado in Harrison County

HARRISON CO., TX (KLTV) -

A utility worker helping restring power lines torn down by an EF2 tornado in Harrison County this weekend was injured on Tuesday after the truck he was in rolled over.

According to spokesperson Jay Webb, an employee with East Texas Utility Contractors was helping restring power lines when the utility truck he was in rolled over. Webb says it appears the truck hit a soft spot on the ground when it rolled.

The man was taken to Good Shepherd Medical Center in Marshall with a head injury. Webb says it appears the injury is not life-threatening.
