This weekend brings the best chance of rain for the ArkLaTex in months. But, that doesn't mean you need to spend the weekend at home. Halloween is fast approaching, and NecroManor in Bossier City is one of the best haunts in the region. Over 50 actors roam the hallowed halls of the Shady Brook Sanitarium.
NecroManor spokesman Jake Woods promises even if you visited NecroManor in the past, each visit brings a unique scare.
The haunted house is located at 2000 Reeves Marine Dr., next to the CenturyLink Center in Bossier City. Standard admission is $15. Fast passes allow you to jump to the front of the line and cost $30. Group rates are also available.
NecroManor is open Thursday - Sunday now through Halloween. Doors are open Friday & Saturday from 7 p.m. until midnight, and 7 p.m. until 10 p.m. Thursday & Sunday.
Soaking rain returns to the region on Friday. Temperatures Friday evening will range from the low to upper 70s with wind out of the southeast at 5-10 mph. It will be a dreary evening, perfect for a spooky night out at a haunted house. Heavy rain and storms move into the region Saturday afternoon with the arrival of a cold front. By Saturday evening, temperatures will fall into the lower 70s with rain continuing through the evening. NecroManor is entirely indoors, so no need for the umbrella. The rain will begin to taper off Sunday, with cooler temperatures ranging in the upper 60s to lower 70s.
