Not only are there a variety of rides and food vendors to choose from, but there is also plenty of live entertainment. This year features "Ditsy," the glamorous clown, Jump! The Ultimate Dog Show and Nick "The Escape Artist" - to name just a few.
Gates are open from 10 a.m. - 10 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday and 10 a.m. - 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The fair is closed Mondays and Tuesdays. Admission to the fair is $10 at the gate, or $8 if you buy your tickets from Brookshires, or Super 1 Foods. Unlimited ride armbands are $30. Parking is free from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. weekdays. If you're looking to save a little cash, then you want to check out dollar days. Every Thursday, admission and parking is just $1.
The fair is open through Sunday, November 8.
Heat and humidity will both be high on Thursday. Temperatures will reach the mid 80s. Rain chances increase for Friday as a cold front inches closer to the region. Rain should hold off until late in the evening. Highs will reach the low 80s with winds out of the southeast at 5-10 mph. Our best chance of rain in months comes Saturday. Great for our drought, not so much for fair weather. Heavy rain with a few storms mixed in are possible. Highs will reach the upper 70s. '
