No. 7 LSU rolled up 624 yards of total offense as the Tigers defeated South Carolina 45-24 in a Gamecocks' home game moved to Baton Rouge. 

LSU sophomore running back Leonard Fournette passed the 1,000-yard mark to break open a close game with an 87-yard touchdown in the third quarter. 

Fournette, who finished with 158 yards on 20 carries, gave LSU (5-0, 3-0) a 24-10 lead on the second play of the third quarter. 

Freshman running back Derrius Guice added 161 rushing yards, including his first touchdown as a Tiger on an 8-yard run in the fourth quarter. 

LSU sophomore quarterback Brandon Harris passed for 228 yards and two scores to supplement a running game that amassed 396 yards on the ground. Harris was 18 for 28 and his 62-yard strike to Travin Dural off a deflection blew the game open 31-10 in the third quarter.

South Carolina (2-4, 0-4) got a 96-yard kickoff return from freshman Rashad Fenton, after Harris hit Malachi Dupre with a 10-yard touchdown strike in the second quarter, closing the gap to 14-10. 

However, the Gamecocks only managed only 283 yards of total offense for Steve Spurrier.
