STARR, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Anderson County deputies charged Larry Anthony Busha with multiple offenses including trafficking methamphetamine near a school on Sept. 25.

The arrest took place after officers responded to a 911 hang up at Busha’s residence on Cliftwood Circle in Starr, deputies said. The home is within a half mile of Flatrock Elementary School.

Busha informed responding deputies that he had misdialed 911.

After deputies say they observed a handgun in a holster laying on a table and signs of illegal drugs, a warrant was obtained to search the residence.

“During the search, deputies located several firearms, numerous firearms parts, two ounces of meth and other illegal drugs, illegally-possessed prescription drugs and $84,994 in cash; all of which were seized and taken into evidence," Sheriff John Skipper said in the statement.

Busha has been charged with three counts of possession of a controlled substance, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, drug trafficking, and possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance near a school.

Gregory Preston Gambrell Sr. of Anderson, who was with Busha at the time of the incident, has been charged with possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.

Gambrell was released from jail on a $15,000 surety bond on Tuesday.

Busha was released Wednesday on a $79,000 surety bond, according to deputies.
