SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) - Three people are behind bars after police say they committed several armed robberies.
Authorities say 24-year-old Joseph Chisolm, 24-year-old Akeem Reed and 24-year-old Dominique Washington have been linked to at least six robberies of Shreveport businesses over a two month period. All three have been charged with armed robbery for their alleged roles in the armed robbery of three Dollar General stores, one Family Dollar store, a Circle K and a Burger King. The reported robberies happened between March 24 and April 11, 2015.
Investigators say Chisolm and Reed were active participants in the heists, while Washington served primarily as the driver of the getaway vehicle.
Authorities say they're still in the process of looking at similar cases where other businesses were robbed under similar circumstances.
Anyone with information about these cases or potential crimes committed by the suspects is urged to contact police at 318-673-7373 or www.lockemup.org.
