1 dead after Southern Hills shooting

One man has died after a shooting in Shreveport's Southern Hills neighborhood. It happened around 9:45 p.m. Tuesday at the Brookhaven Apartments in the 2700 block of Stanberry Drive. Reporter Jacob Bradford will be live from the scene with the very latest on this shooting on KSLA News 12 This Morning. 

Also coming up, Shreveport police are investigating an armed robbery that happened early this morning in the 2200 block of Queens Highway. Victims say a masked man with a revolver approached them and demanded money. 

SWAR authorities are on the hunt for 32-year-old Daroyce Rodgers after he reportedly escaped custody. It happened around 4:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Miller County Courthouse.

And protesters gathered at the Arkansas State Capitol yesterday to object to an approved religious freedom bill, which now only needs the governor's signature to become law. Hear more on this controversial bill and why it's in the national spotlight on KSLA News 12 This Morning.
