2 families displaced after Highland duplex fire


in Shreveport's Highland neighborhood has displaced two families. It happened just after 6:30 a.m. Monday in the 600 block of Egan Street near Creswell Avenue. When fire crews arrived, they found heavy smoke and flames coming from the two-level residential duplex. One man suffered minor burns to his arms and was treated at the scene.
