2 families displaced after Highland duplex fire

A fire in Shreveport's Highland neighborhood has displaced two families. It happened just after 6:30 a.m. Monday in the 600 block of Egan Street near Creswell Avenue. When fire crews arrived, they found heavy smoke and flames coming from the two-level residential duplex. One man suffered minor burns to his arms and was treated at the scene. 

Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson and a lawmaker behind a "religious freedom" bill critics say endorses discrimination against gays and lesbians say they're not seeking any changes to the measure as it nears a final vote. Hear more on this bill on KSLA News 12 This Morning.
