After a rough few years financially and even help from the state, a recent audit shows the Town of Gibsland may not be completely free of

just yet.The new town mayor Terry Wilson expects the town to have a clean audit for the upcoming year and predicts the town will be completely out of debt within the next 18 months.

The American Red Cross is still working with several families who were displaced after a

A Texarkana, Ark. family

to a fire last night. It happened around 8:30 p.m. in the 5600 block of Sanderson Lane, just one block from a fire station. The fire, which completely engulfed the home, remains under investigation.
