After a rough few years financially and even help from the state, a recent audit shows the Town of Gibsland may not be completely free of money woes just yet.The new town mayor Terry Wilson expects the town to have a clean audit for the upcoming year and predicts the town will be completely out of debt within the next 18 months.

A Texarkana, Ark. family lost their home to a fire last night. It happened around 8:30 p.m. in the 5600 block of Sanderson Lane, just one block from a fire station. The fire, which completely engulfed the home, remains under investigation.
