LSU's morale - The Tigers were without question whipped last week at Auburn, suffering the school's worst loss in 15 years and the most decisive defeat in the Les Miles era. So will there be any hangover from the 41-7 shellacking? Does this LSU team have anything left to give or will they roll over in "The Swamp"? The Tigers called a player's only meeting earlier this week, in an effort to gain control of a season quickly spiraling out of it. Sometimes these moves work and other times they're nothing more than a gimmick. This is certainly a winnable game for the Tigers, as Florida is not on the same level as Auburn or the Mississippi State team that likewise dominated LSU earlier this year. If something goes wrong for the Tigers early, it will be very intriguing to see how they respond.

Turn "The Swamp" on the Gators - As we've talked about this week, things are not warm and fuzzy in Gainesville. The Florida fan base is clearly torn on head coach Will Muschamp and seem to have less love for their quarterback Jeff Driskel. if LSU can get an early lead and force a Driskel turnover, the boo birds will likely be out. A worker at the Florida ticket office, told me about 1,000 tickets were left for the game Friday, which means there's probably plenty more available than that. My point? Although "The Swamp" is one of the most intimidating venues in college football, it probably won't be at it's best Saturday night. In this case, it may be good for LSU to be away from Tiger Stadium and perhaps turn the Gator fans against their team.

Can LSU stop run (just a little)? - there's nothing complicated to discuss here. The Tigers have been marshmallow soft up the middle and Florida's Matt Jones averages 93 yards per game rushing. Driskel can be woeful passing the ball for the Gators, but it may not matter if LSU can't make tackles at or near the line of scrimmage. The questions surrounding the Tigers defensive line and development of it, are a completely different column. It's been very hard for LSU fans to watch.
