For a second year in a row, Ollie was the top dog Monday at the annual Wiener Dog Races at Harrah's Louisiana Downs.
Ollie, a 14-pound-male, left his competition in the dust to claim first prize. He earned a year's supply of bones and a $100 gift card to PetSmart.
This is a repeat win for Ollie. He was also the winner at the 2013 Wiener Dog Races.
Hundreds cheered on the 30 dogs as they raced to the finish line before the start of live thoroughbred racing for the day.
This year, the money raised from betting on the Wiener Dog Races, as well as t-shirt sales, will benefit Robinson's Rescue. The group will be presented with a check on Super Derby Saturday, Sept. 6th.
