Dog injured in ETX wreck recovering at Indiana home

In a KSLA News 12 update - we have the latest on a dog that was injured in July after a motor vehicle wreck near Nash, Texas.

The pit bull, named Zeus, is recovering in Lawrence, Indiana after veterinarians had to amputate his front right leg.

Zeus was a passenger in an 18-wheeler that wrecked on I30 under the Kings Highway Bridge. He was then taken to a Texarkana veterinary hospital for immediate treatment.

The dog's owner said with the exception of losing his leg, Zeus should be OK.
