VIDEO: Two women stab, rob man in French Quarter

Police are asking for the public's help to identify two women wanted for stabbing a man in the French Quarter after stealing his wallet.

According to NOPD, a 25-year-old man was walking to a hotel around 3:45 a.m. when he was approached by two unknown black women that touched him and made sexual advances. The victim said he attempted to get away and realized his wallet was taken from his back pocket. When he demanded the wallet back a fight began and one of the suspects stabbed him in the hand. The victim says the pair then calmly walked towards Bourbon Street.

The victim described one suspect as an African American woman, possibly transgender, 6'0-to-6'5" tall with a medium build, a dark complexion and long black hair. She was wearing a pink shirt with a diamond pattern on it according to the victim.

The second suspect is described as an African American woman, about 5'5"-to-5'7" tall with a thin build and straight black hair.

The incident was captured by surveillance video and can be seen here.

Anyone with information on this incident is asked to call CRIMESTOPPERS at 504-822-1111.
