Police investigating a theft in Clarksville Friday discovered a meth lab.
Detectives in Clarksville have been working a theft from a local storage facility involving a large amount of property.
Detectives executed a search warrant at a home in the 500 block of Kellia Drive around 3 p.m. Friday. Detectives spent the first two hours recovering property outside the home.
Just after 5 p.m., detectives entered the home where they found a meth lab. Detectives backed out immediately and notified the proper agencies about the lab.
Nicholas Goettel, 22, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail for theft. Police said charges for the meth lab are pending.
