TPD: Theft suspect demands cash from midtown, east-side stores

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Tucson Police seeks the public's help in identifying and locating a man suspected of robbing several Tucson stores while armed.

The suspect either implied having a weapon or allegedly showed a handgun and demanded cash from workers at multiple midtown and east-side establishments, according to TPD Officer Brandon Tatum.

Authorities described the suspect involved in the incidents on Aug. 21, 23, 24 amd 28 as Black, between 28 and 35 years old, 5'10” to 6' tall, 200 to 220 lbs. and is said to have a distinct right eye.

Anyone with information is urged to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
