Shreveport woman nearly kidnapped taking out trash

SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -

Police are looking for a man who allegedly tried to kidnap a Shreveport woman Wednesday afternoon as she was taking out the trash.

About 2:30 p.m., police received a call from a woman who an unknown male grabbed her outside her home in the 200 block of Naomi Street. The man attempted to drag her behind a house, but she was able to fight him off.

The man, described as a black male, of medium build with braids in his hair, was wearing a red shirt and dark colored pants at the time of the crime, police said.

After the victim fought him off, the suspect fled down the street and got into a beige Nissan Altima with red dice handing from the mirror and a torn BPCC sticker on the back window, police said.
