The situation in Ferguson, MO inspired a local teen to use music to sound off on the situation.
Queen McElrath, a 16-year-old junior at Pearl-Cohn High School, wrote and directed a music video in memory of shooting victim Michael Brown.
As of Wednesday, the video had over 3,000 views on YouTube.
McElrath told The Tennessean she made the video after seeing the violent protests in Ferguson following the shooting death of Brown.
While her video supports Brown, McElrath said it also calls for protestors in Ferguson to stop the violence and protest peacefully.
The video was shot in north Nashville. Click here to see the music video.
