SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -

A stabbing Sunday afternoon in Southwest Shreveport sent one man to the hospital, and a woman possibly facing charges.

Police said just after 3:17 p.m., a man went to the home of his ex-girlfriend, both in their 30s, in the 2700 block of Parkridge Street. That's where an argument broke out between the two.

The woman felt threatened and allegedly picked up a knife and stabbed the man in the side.

The man was taken to Willis-Knighton hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, but has been released. Police said the woman was inside her house but wasn't answering the door.

As of 4:35, police had not made any arrests, but Shreveport police said charges against the woman are pending.
