SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) - Shreveport firefighters were able to quickly extinguish a fire at an abandoned building Friday that they believe someone intentionally set.

It happened just before 2 p.m. at a building on the corner of Lakeshore Drive and Levy Street. Fire investigators believe the building was being demolished, because it had no roof or utilities. They arrived at the scene and discovered some of the building's dismantled wood on fire.

The cause of the fire has not been determined. No injuries were reported. The fire remains under investigation.
