CADDO PARISH, LA (KSLA) -

A Caddo Parish man has been indicted by a Grand Jury on charges of of aggravated rape and indecent behavior with juveniles, just over a month after he was arrested twice in less than a week.

Kurz was first arrested back on July 11, accused of indecent behavior with an underage neighbor. He was released on $100,000 bond, only to be arrested again just a few days later. That time, he was charged with aggravated rape after 5 additional victims came forward following news reports of his first arrest. Bond on those charges was set at $250,000.

The victims, who ranged from age four to 14 at the time, say Kurz abused them between the years of 1969 and 1985.

Det. James Moore with the Caddo Parish Sheriff's office said that because of the time that has passed in some of these cases, Kurz can only be charged with one additional crime. However, the victims' information will be used as part of the case against Kurz.

Kurz bonded out of Caddo Correctional Center Tuesday, one day before the indictment against him was handed down.
