Three men have been arrested by detectives with the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office, following a sting operation on Monday at public restrooms near the Lake Charles Civic Center and the Interstate 10 beach.

"During the undercover sting operation, detectives arrested... three men who were observed masturbating while inside the men's restroom areas in plain view. All were booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center for obscenity," said Kim Myers, spokeswoman for the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office.

Arrested were 74-year-old William Gray of Dry Creek, 35-year-old Earl Beard of Hackberry and 63-year-old Robert Garner of Lake Charles.

Garner was also charged with possession of marijuana and expired driver's license.

Bonds were set at $25,000 for Gray, $5,000 for Beard and $25,000 for Garner.
