Claiborne County man killed in ATV accident

CLAIBORNE COUNTY, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Claiborne County Sheriff Marvin Lucas has confirmed the death of one man involved in an ATV accident Sunday.

Sheriff Lucas identified the victim as 33-year-old Sherman Evans of Hermanville.

We were told the accident happened around 5 p.m. Sunday on Highway 548 in Hermanville.

Evans died at the scene.

He was found by deputies in the middle of the roadway and was not wearing a helmet.
