Governor Bobby Jindal was doused with ice water on Wednesday, part of the viral ALS Ice Water Challenge.

The rules to the Ice Bucket Challenge are simple: Dump a bucket of ice water on your head and challenge someone else to do the same.

Participants are asked to complete the challenge within 24 hours. Otherwise, they are asked to make a donation to the national ALS Association or a charity of their choice. Many do both.

Jindal was challenged to the Ice Bucket Challenge by New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees. Brees was challenged by Today Show co-host Hoda Kotb in honor of Steve Gleason, a former Saints player who suffers from ALS.

Gleason was a trooper and did the challenge naked. Watch Gleason's video here (don't worry, it's work friendly). Mobile users can watch here.

Brees in turn took the Ice Bucket Challenge at training camp along with Joe Vitt and Rob Ryan to support Team Gleason. You can watch them undergo the challenge here

Brees then challenged Governor Bobby Jindal, Ellen DeGeneres and golfer Bubba Watson.

So far, Jindal is the only one who has accepted Brees' challenge.

Gov. Jindal concluded by challenging Coach Les Miles (LSU), Willie Robertson (Duck Dynasty), and Joe Scarborough (MSNBC).

They have 24 hours.

Brees later decided to one-up the challenge on twitter. He challenged the other Saints QBs, who all accepted the #NakedIceBucketChallenge. Brees said he would donate one dollar to @TeamGleason for every retweet up to $10,000. You can see the video here.
