Man arrested for hitting girlfriend with belt after bad haircut

A Hope, Ark. man is behind bars after police say he struck his girlfriend with a belt several times after he saw how she cut his hair.
Just before 8:30 p.m. Friday officers responded to a home in the 700 block of West Avenue B in reference to a domestic disturbance. Authorities say they were told that the man became upset with his haircut and struck his girlfriend several times with his hands and a belt. While he was hitting his girlfriend, he reportedly hit the couple's 1-year-old child above the left eye with the belt, causing an abrasion.
Police arrested 20-year-old Ediber Luna and charged him with second-degree domestic battery and third-degree domestic battery. He was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility.
