VAN ZANDT COUNTY, TX (KLTV) -

The Van Zandt County Fire Marshal's Office responded to a report of a kitten that had fallen into an open well in Myrtle Springs.

Fire Marshal Charles Allen used a bucket and a long extension cord to fish the kitten out of the 30-foot well. 

The kitten, cold and wet, was dried off and is now safe and sound with it's owner.
