East Texas man jailed on assault charges

LONGVIEW, TX (KLTV) -

An East Texas man is jailed on assault and resisting arrest charges.

Longview police arrested 32-year-old Shane Bridges on Saturday in the 1400 block of H-G Mosley Parkway. Bridges was arrested on site for assault-causing bodily injury to a family member, and then resisting officers who tried to take him into custody.

He remains jailed on $2,000 bond.
