BOSSIER CITY, LA (KSLA) - One man is behind bars and one man is recovering in a local hospital after police say a South Bossier City brawl escalated.

The fight happened Friday evening on the corner of Parkway Drive and Oriole Street. Police say 22-year-old Dylan Thomas Harville of Bossier City got into an altercation with a 20-year-old man. As the two were fighting, Harville pulled out a pocket knife and stabbed the other man multiple times.

The victim was able to drive to his residence, where a family member contacted police. He was taken to University Health in Shreveport with non-life threatening injuries.

Harville was taken to the Bossier City Jail where he was charged with aggravated battery.
