SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -

The woman who police say stabbed a man in the chest at a Shreveport library has surrendered to authorities.

Police say 26-year-old Sade Tillman is behind bars after turning herself in at 11 a.m. Saturday. She accused of stabbing 25-year-old Leanthony Hall once in the upper chest.

The stabbing happened just before 10 a.m. Friday at the Wallette branch of the Shreve Memorial Library. The library is located in the 300 block of Hearne Avenue.

Police believe Tillman and possibly three others were chasing Hall, when he ran into the library. As they all entered the library, Tillman and Hall started arguing. Tillman then reportedly grabbed a pair of scissors and stabbed Hall in the chest. The group then fled the scene before officers arrived.

Hall was taken to University Health in Shreveport with life-threatening injuries.

Library officials say the unarmed security guard present asked the group to leave when they started arguing. The library is closed until Monday morning.

Tillman was taken to the Shreveport City Jail where she was booked on one count of attempted second-degree murder. She is being held on a $150,000 bond.

Police are looking for the others who may be involved. Anyone with information on their whereabouts or with information about this crime is urged to call Shreveport Crime Stoppers at (318) 673-7373 or visit www.lockemup.org
