SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -

Shreveport police investigators are looking for a suspect in connection with a shooting in West Shreveport last week.

Officers have linked 19-year-old Quincy Randle of the 2500 block of Corbitt Street in Shreveport to the crime. Police believe Randle fired multiple shots that struck a car carrying four passengers. Randle is charged with attempted first degree murder.

The shooting took place on Aug. 2, when a patrol officer attempted a traffic stop in the 6200 Block of Greenwood Road. Once the officer stopped the vehicle he was told that a male fired at the vehicle numerous times as it drove through the area of Portland Avenue near Lakeshore Drive just moments earlier.

Evidence found at the scene of the crime was consistent with statements provided by those inside the vehicle. The driver of the vehicle and the three passengers were detained but no one was injured.

Randle's bond has been set at $300,000. If you have any information call Crime Stoppers at 318-673-7373 or head over to www.lockemup.org.
