SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) - Meet the Pearce twins.

Magdalyn Elise laid quietly in her mom's arms and Evelyn Rose snuggled with her daddy.

"Put their little heads together so we can see how much they look alike even though they're not identical," said new mommy Amanda Pearce.

These babies are one set of nine sets of twins being cared for at the Neo-natal intensive care unit at University Health in Shreveport right now.

One nurse says she's never seen so many sets of twins at once in her 22 years at the NICU.
These are our first babies so this is just normal for us," Pearce said.  "I guess the words of wisdom is just enjoy every second and your doubly blessed."

The Pearce twins were born yesterday at 34 weeks. They're expected to go home Friday.
