SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -

Shreveport police are on the lookout for a man they say kicked in the door of a home where a woman he had allegedly attacked was hiding.

Ronnie Young Jr., 31 of the 2900 block of Sunnybrook Street, is believed to have kicked in the door of a home in the 600 block of W. 73rd Street on July 26.

Police said a female acquaintance ran into the home seeking safety from Young, who had allegedly battered her.

Young had two handguns on him when he burst through the door, threatening those inside with the weapons and demanding they bring the woman to him. Police said he then left the house and is still at large.

Young is charged with domestic violence with strangulation, unauthorized use of a moveable, home invasion and illegal carry of a weapon by a convicted felon.

Police warn that Young should be considered armed and dangerous. Call Crime Stoppers at 318-673-7373 or visit www.lockemup.org if you know where Young may be.
