The Reds only scored one run in a 15 inning loss to the
Arizona Diamondbacks 2-1 on Monday night.

break. The streak has dropped the Reds below .500 for the first time since late
The Reds' offense has been the issue, scoring just 17 runs
in those 10 games.
Devin Mesoraco hit a second inning solo home run for the
Reds only run of the game. That ended a streak of three straight games without
a home run at Great American Ball Park – the longest in the history of GABP.
Homer Bailey started the game for the Reds on the mound and
only allowed one earned run in eight innings pitched.
The first place Brewers lost Monday night, so the Reds
remain six games out of first place in the NL Central.
