An early morning shooting sent a Shreveport teenager to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the head.
Just after 4 a.m., officers were called out to the emergency room at Willis-Knighton North after 19-year-old Jerandom Upshaw showed up in a private vehicle.
Police later discovered that Upshaw had been at a house party in the 3400 block of Alto Vista Avenue, when a fight and gunfire broke out.
Upshaw was armed with a handgun at the time, but police said it's unclear what role he may have played in the shooting.
He is listed in critical but stable condition at University Health Shreveport.
