Shreveport police have arrested a man linked to the city's latest homicide.
LaDarrius Dewayne Lee, 19 of the 3500 block of Darien Street, was booked into the Shreveport City Jail around 2 a.m. Friday.
Police said Lee shot Herbert Webb III, 39, of Shreveport, during a suspected drug deal Wednesday in the 3800 block of Jackson Street in the city's Queensborough neighborhood.
Webb was taken by a private vehicle to Willis-Knighton Medical Center North about 1 p.m. with a gunshot to his lower mid-section. He died shortly thereafter.
Evidence led police to name Lee as the suspect, and he now faces second degree murder charges. Bond has been set at $500, 000.
