Shreveport police are on the scene at Jackson St. and Jewella Ave., where the shooting is believed to have occurred.
Officers were first called to the Willis Knighton North on Greenwood Road just after 1 p.m., when a man showed up there with gunshot wounds.

The victim in a deadly shooting Wednesday afternoon in Shreveport's Queensborough neighborhood has been identified.
Officers were called to the Willis Knighton North on Greenwood Road just after 1 p.m., where a man showed up with gunshots wounds to the lower mid-section. He died shortly after his arrival at the hospital. That man has since been identified as 39-year-old Herbert Webb of Shreveport.
Police say he was driven there in private car, after he was reportedly shot in the 3800 block of Jackson St. More than a dozen officers converged on the scene and began gathering information and evidence. They say their preliminary investigation indicates that the shooting was related to a drug deal. Webb is believed to have been a passenger in a white SUV when someone walked toward the vehicle and fired twice from a handgun. Webb was struck once.
Police have detained the driver of the SUV as they continue the investigation and work to identify the person or persons responsible for the crime.
