SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -

A Shreveport man was in for a big surprise Tuesday when he went to meet up with a 14-year-old girl and found two deputies waiting there for him instead.

Christopher Lee Walker, 32, was arrested and charged for failure to register as a sex offender in Caddo Parish. This is the second time Walker has not fully registered himself since his conviction in 2001, according to the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office.

This time, Walker allegedly set up a Facebook account using the name "John Cameron" and talked to a deputy he thought was actually a teenage girl. Walker sent a photo of himself to the deputy's assumed identity and made plans to meet the "teen" at a local store.

Instead, deputies Jared Marshall and James Moore were waiting at the rendezvous point and took Walker into custody.

Deputies said Walker, a convicted sex offender, did not complete the required notifications of his sex offender registration packet by not revealing that he created and uses a social networking account.

Walker is being held at CCC on $75,000 bond.
