Study says Louisiana has happiest cities in the country
Louisiana has been named, by the Wall Street Journal’s business website, as the state with the top five happiest cities.
A Harvard professor put the list together with current research nationwide. Lafayette is the happiest city in America. Houma comes in second, followed by Shreveport, Baton Rouge in fourth place, and Alexandria in fifth place.
Lake Charles made the top ten, ranking 8th and Monroe made the top 20.
The unhappiest cities lead with New York City, then St. Joseph, MS; South Bend, IN; Erie, PA and the Evansville, IN and Henderson, KY area.
