Bridgette Musgrove is leading an effort to add lighting to North Hearne Avenue. This comes after a deadly accident Saturday night. Cecilia White, 30, was hit by a car and killed on North Hearne just south of its intersection with North Aero Drive.Musgrove is pleading to city leaders and traffic engineers to consider adding more lightsShe's circulating a petition that already has 200 signatures. She says the more names on the petition, the faster city leaders will move. Musgrove says putting up better lighting and some type of barricade to separate pedestrians from the vehicles will help to prevent fatalities. She says so far she has gotten positive feedback.A prayer vigil for White is planned for July 26 at 8 p.m. near the site of the accident.
