ARKADELPHIA, Ark. (AP) - Attorneys for a man accused of killing two Arkansas girls and their stepfather say they want the names of the people who helped police in their investigation.

The Daily Siftings Herald reports (http://bit.ly/WeamyO ) lawyers for 21-year-old Riakos Lizana argue the informants' identities are necessary for a fair trial.

Lizana is charged with capital murder in the 2012 deaths of 40-year-old Bobby Jean Galbraith, 4-year-old Marley Crutchfield and 6-year-old Adiele Crutchfield. The newspaper reports a bloody palm print led Arkadelphia police to arrest Lizana. A suspected cause of the victims' deaths hasn't been released.

Prosecutors say releasing the informants' names isn't needed, arguing disclosure would be appropriate if they had been witnesses or participants in the crime.

A pretrial hearing is scheduled for Friday in Clark County.
