New Orleans residents who have received Road Home program letters demanding repayment get a chance to voice their concerns Wednesday.
The New Orleans City Council Community Development Committee will take up the issue at 2 p.m. in council chambers.
Council members and housing advocates will discuss a new law that gives homeowners more time to respond to the letters. They'll also discuss possible solutions for closing the thousands of open cases and getting additional rebuilding money for those who haven't returned home.
