A very bumpy and deteriorating railroad crossing has been causing headaches for years in East Bossier Parish.More >>
BOSSIER CITY, LA (KSLA) -
Railroad track repairs will close one of the streets to a Bossier City subdivision starting Wednesday morning.
City spokesman Mark Natale says that Kansas City Southern Railroad will be replacing the crossing on Golden Meadows Drive at Barksdale Boulevard. The crossing will be closed fro three days. Barricades and detour signs will be in place during the closure.
Drivers will be able to access the Golden Meadows subdivision from Barksdale Boulevard through Robert E. Lee Boulevard and from Sligo Road through Pampus Lane and Bayou Drive.
